"March Saturday Science: All About Eggs..."

Learn "All About Eggs" this March...

Are your kids looking forward to the beautiful Spring weather? Are they looking for something fun to do on the weekends? Get them outside in the open air with Saturday Science at The Discovery Center!

Spring into the season with our "All About Eggs" classes this March! This month, your kids will take part in a variety of fun, animal-themed activities to learn all about eggs. Join us on Saturdays for $5/family. Classes start at 12, 1 and 2 p.m., unless otherwise noted.

  • March 6, 2010 - "Do all reptiles come from eggs?"
    Are there some reptiles that don't lay eggs? Are the eggs thick like chicken eggs? How do the babies get out of the egg?
  • March 13, 2010 - "Are all bird eggs the same?"
    Do all bird eggs look the same? Are all bird eggs white? What do the chicks look like when they hatch?
  • March 20, 2010 - "Amphibians come from eggs too?"
    What do amphibian eggs look like? Do they float? What color are they? What do the babies look like?
  • March 27, 2010 - "Spring Egg Fest"
    Join is at The Discovery Center for a most egg-cellent day. Bring your whole family for music, magic show, activities, dancing and of course the egg-citing egg hunt. This special event is from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at The Discovery Center, and is just $5 at the gate.
